About the Author

Fiona Jones was born in Gosford, New South Wales, in 1970. After completing her post-graduate degree in medical ultrasonography at Sydney University, Fiona spent 14 years in a very fulfilling and enjoyable career doing ultrasound examinations in obstetrics and gynaecology. She worked at specialist Obstetric practices in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.  Fiona spoke regularly at conferences and was an invited speaker to medical students at Bond University on multiple occasions.

During this time Fiona purchased multiple investment properties in Sydney and on the Gold Coast. She has completed numerous renovations and gained her certificate IV in real estate. One development involved project managing a block of five apartments with five separate owners in Mosman, Sydney. This led to a substantial increase in the property’s value. Her first renovation resulted in a 300% profit.

After moving to the Gold Coast and seeing a gap in the market, Fiona and her sister opened a specialist waxing salon. After 15 months Fiona bought out her partner and went on to exponentially grow the business and after two years from conception sold it debt free for a phenomenal profit. This gave Fiona a taste for entrepreneurship.

Fiona currently has three boutique property developments in the pipeline and trades covered calls in the share market for cash flow. Her skills have all been developed through attending seminars and reading a large volume of books on various strategies.

Fiona is involved in volunteer work at a local organisation where she is currently the treasurer. Her work involves writing grants for the not for profit organisation. Through grant writing Fiona has developed an awareness of philanthropists and the amazing opportunities that they give to the community. This has led her to further her interest in successful people and take on her next project as author of the Millionaire series.

Fiona lives on the Gold Coast in a waterfront property with her husband and two children. In her spare time she enjoys yoga, boating, swimming, reading and is currently learning to horse ride.
